Politics From a 13 Year Olds Perspective

Okay, I'm 13 years old, but I won't deny: I'm smart. So my topic is, politics. I have decided that no I am not old enough to vote, but I am still paying attention. Who will rule the government? Yes, I am a teenage Mormon girl and my opinion is: pay attention to the Book of Mormon, and we are better off. But NO. So here we go, McCain schools Obama. What throws me over the edge is (A.) Abortion and (B.) Taxes. Do not tell me I don't know what I am talking about, I will voice my opinion, and prove you are wrong, and I am sorry if what I'll say offends you, I will try to lay low and keep it sweet.



Obama plans to raise taxes for people that have worked harder, stayed in school, worked their way up; and is lowering it for highschool dropouts working at McDonalds at age 36. He plans to take our men out of war, and what does this do IT DESTROYS EVERYTHING WE HAVE WORKED FOR!!! That won't do much good. So here the election comes, just hours away from having a new president.

But if Obama wins WE ARE SCREWED... and I am going to miss yall, because I'm moving to Canada with the hot guys and mooses(:

Guess who is back? ME!! I have not posted for a while [because my brother is ALWAYS on.] Anyways my best guy friend since sixth grade (Gavin), replaced me, oh well, then last week I started talking to Stephen. Now, Stephen is MY BEST FRIEND!!! It is amazing; he always cracks me up and he tries his hardest to be there for me. I can tell him anything and I trust him SO much. I could never say that completely for Gavin without hesitating. So, I guess this better. Whenever I give Stephen hugs he goes, hi buddy. It makes me smile. (: I text him not stop, so if I'm texting... he is probably in the list!!!



And I don't know what else to put, oh for the family who's wondering about my dancing, EVERYDAY at least one girl and officer comment on how good my right splits are getting and how PERFECT my left ones are. OH YEAH!! ((:



AND... I'm doing SWELL athletic wise. And I REALLY LIKE MATH!!! SHOCK... My class is amazing (I have Brandon, Morgan, Sarabeth, Amanda, Kaylee, Daniel and Gracin to keep me company) and I love Ms. Ambro to death!!! It is great(: Anyways, I'm a busy child. (: BYE ILY

Hi hi. I just got back from a game. It was so so so much fun. I hung out with my girlies and saw a whole bunch of people that I miss. I saw Alex Rak and I haven't forever but he was way cooler then I gave him credit for. I also saw a lot of other people. Two people got hurt... one from their team and one from ours. Trevor Newell got hurt on our team. He got back up though. I don't know if he is okay though. I also saw JERELLLL like a million times. Everytime I gave him a hug and even a high five through the gate thing. It was hilarious. We were being so so crazy!! We did the "Give me one, give me two, give me three, break it down now, WHAT??!!?!" thingy ma bob. I cracked everyone up when they went WHAT and thirty seconds later I said it. We did our novelty dance [bend and snap] and we did really good and we only had two days to practice!!! WOOT WOOT. Tomorrow is NJHS thing. Wish me luck.

My best friend... one of the many... keeps texting me and telling me how sweet I am... and how happy he is that we are friends... He makes me laugh... and smile... I even call him Bubba(: I love that kid((: Jerel is greaaattttt!! Who else? Oh and Mallory... If you haven't heard about her... You are missing out!!! That girl is hilarious. She always makes me laugh no matter what. She is pretty freaking AMAZING and is always there for me... She always makes me feel better about myself even if I don't listen to her((: Gavin: has been my best friend since 6Th grade and I love that kid more then... a lot of things... We've grown apart but I still trust him and would do anything for him... even if he makes me mad... I've tried being mad at him but it doesn't last longer then two days. I couldn't go through middle school without him... Alex: Dude... this girl gets hurt so much... but she can always scream "OMG LEXI!!! I MISSED YOU!! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!!??" and she probably saw me the last five minute break... She is seriously my long lost sistahh... I mean it is Alexandria Nicole and Alexandra Nicole AND our birthdays are three days apart((: can make me laugh and has been there through the thick and thin. Kara: Oh baby... So many inside jokes, so many late nights, GAVIN BEAR!!! Loll... long story... don't ask... She is in my drill team class... and know when to make the boringest days... my most exciting... she's there when I cry, laugh, and whine.... Sidney: She just moved to Garland and it has been one of the toughest experiences ever... She made signs, wrote letters, and cheered me on. She was my first best friend in Rockwall... and I love that girl so much..

... On Wednesday I was in the homecoming pep rally. It was really fun. My baby cousin spent the night... Well... Sigh... Life is great...

Dance Dance Dance!

TODAY WAS WONDERFUL! We had the first game that drill has preformed at. We did pretty good if I do say so myself. I had so much fun. It was kind of sad but funny because one of my best friends tripped and fell during the dance. She was trying not to crack up in the middle of our Pom Routine. It was fun(: That's all I have to say... Oh actually... today I was a captain in Math for Jeopardy... and my team won((:

Time to post again. Well today school was cool I guess. It was the same like always, but it was still pretty good like always. Well I haven't posted since school started. But nothing as really changed. I love Spanish and all my other classes as well. I have first and last period with Brandon Klesmit, who happens to be the most amazing teenage boy I've ever met. He's so nice. I've known him since like the middle of last year. But everyday we become closer friends. He's actually my best guy friend. He's super sweet and he's not like the other guys. Ha ha. And actually today after math [7th period] he waited for me after class. I was shocked.

I've made a whole bunch of new friends. And became closer with people I've known since 6Th and 7Th grade. In drill team one of the officers looked at me during stretches and said "Lexi, your splits look REALLY good." She smiled and dropped into hers. That pushed me further so I tried harder with my splits, which made her smile. I'm really interested in school this year, more than usual. Which is good. I want to look in to collages. I know I'm in 8Th grade, but I want to know what my goals must be. Speaking of that... I got a note asking me to try for NJHS. WOO HOO GO LEXI((:

POSTING MORE THEN ONE BLOG-

HERO-
On my bus there's a 7Th grader who loves to pick. She decided it was my turn, so a few days ago she just felt like being rude on the bus and being mean to everyone around her that wasn't laughing with her. What I forgot to mention- she's supposed to be in 9Th grade. Weird huh? Well anyways... the next day she stood in the middle of the aisle talking to someone while we were loading the bus to come home. She said something to me and I didn't hear her so I POLITELY said "Excuse me?" And my little friend Niel, who's a 7Th grader said, "Sorry I think she had a girl moment." And she flipped out AND GRABBED his neck, he's the size of MICHAEL [my brother] and he's like my little brother. So my instincts kicked in. I grabbed her hand off of him and pushed him behind me. She went TO HIT ME and I stopped her so she cut my lip when her finger went out. But it's already gone. I told her there was no use in fighting and I wasn't mad at her. It felt good. I felt like I'd done my part.
